About 

Scott was always interested in performing from a young age, taking part in school plays, amateur dramatics and joining stage school. When he turned 18, Scott played Doody in 'Grease' at The Edinburgh Playhouse to 2,500 people which led to him receiving a scholarship to The MGA Academy of Performing Arts.

Scott graduated from MGA in 2017 with a HND in Musical Theatre. During his time training Scott got to perform in some of the best venues in Scotland, and arguably, the UK. He has also starred in numerous five star productions at the world renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with some memorable mentions being Arvin in 'Zanna Don't!' in 2015, King Duncan in the Primary Times Children's Choice Award Winning 'Brave Macbeth' in 2016 and was Male Swing in the world premier sell out run of 'Tenatious D: The Musical of Destiny' in 2018 to name but a few.

Scott has directed numerous productions from pantomimes to plays, most notably 'The Great American Trailer Park Musical' while also playing the role of Norbert. This particular production went on to receive many five star reviews, and won 'Best Overall Show' (The Derek Awards) and 'Best Musical' (Theatre Weekly) at The Edinburgh Fringe 2017. Having directed & taught for numerous companies across Scotland, Scott started his company BBD Productions in 2019 with his co-producer, Jonnie Grant. They have produced sell out live shows and during the coronavirus pandemic created online concerts in aid of charity at Halloween, Christmas, Burns Night & Valentine's Day, all of which were met with rave reviews. These concerts can be found on BBD Production's Youtube channel.

Not content with being on stage and behind the table, Scott also branched out into technical theatre. He has worked with The Beyond Broadway Experience as their Assistant Stage Manager for the Scottish Premier of Lin-Manuel Miranda's show 'Bring It On' & the classic musical 'FAME'. Scott has also created some of the most ambitions lighting designs at the Edinburgh Fringe all while also directing and choreographing for shows including 'All Shook Up', 'Sister Act' & '13: The Musical'. Including this he has also been writing numerous scripts, some of which will be workshopping soon.
